1. Introduction
Welcome to Feel Bloom ("we", "our", or "us"). We are committed to protecting your personal information. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and safeguard your data when you use the Feel Bloom mobile application and website (feelbloom.app).
2. Information We Collect
We collect information you provide directly, including:
- Account details: name, email address
- Daily check-in responses: energy level, sleep quality, stress, cravings
- Wellness goals and preferences you share with Bloom
- In-app chat messages with the Bloom mascot
We also collect data automatically: device type, OS version, app usage patterns, and crash reports.
3. Health Data
Feel Bloom processes subjective wellness data you voluntarily submit (energy, sleep, stress). With your explicit permission, we may access data from Apple Health, Google Health Connect, or Huawei Health to enhance our recommendations. We never sell health data. Health data is processed solely to generate your personalized daily wellness plan.
4. Voice Data
If you use the voice chat feature, your voice is transcribed to text in real time and then immediately discarded. We do not store audio recordings. Transcribed text is processed by our AI system to generate a response and is not retained beyond your session unless you save a conversation.
5. AI Processing
Your check-in responses and wellness data are processed by our day type algorithm and, for premium features, by Claude (Anthropic) and Hume AI to generate personalized recommendations and voice responses. Data sent to third-party AI providers is subject to their respective privacy policies and is used only to generate your response — not to train their models under our agreements.
6. Analytics
We use privacy-respecting analytics to understand how features are used in aggregate. This data is anonymized and cannot be linked back to individual users. We do not use advertising trackers.
7. Data Storage and Security
Your data is stored on Supabase infrastructure hosted in the EU (Frankfurt). All data is encrypted in transit (TLS 1.2+) and at rest (AES-256). Access is protected by row-level security policies ensuring you can only access your own data.
8. Payments
Subscriptions are processed by Apple App Store or Google Play Store. We do not store payment card information. Revenue Cat manages subscription state. Refer to Apple's and Google's privacy policies for payment data handling.
9. Data Retention
We retain your data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, all personal data is permanently deleted within 30 days, except where retention is required by law. Anonymized aggregate data may be retained indefinitely.
10. Data Sharing
We do not sell your data. We share data only with service providers necessary to operate Feel Bloom (Supabase, Anthropic, Hume AI, RevenueCat, Apple, Google) under strict data processing agreements. We may disclose data if required by law.
11. Children
Feel Bloom is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us personal information, please contact us immediately at privacy@feelbloom.app.
12. Your Rights
Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to access, correct, export, or delete your personal data. To exercise these rights, contact us at privacy@feelbloom.app. EU/EEA residents have additional rights under GDPR including the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority.
13. Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy periodically. We will notify you of significant changes via in-app notification or email. Continued use of Feel Bloom after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
